Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Jean Parnell, age 91, will be held at 1 PM Friday, February 9, 2024, at Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Joel Pigg officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, and visitation will be held from 11 AM until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Parnell passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at NHC Milan.
Mrs. Parnell was a homemaker, a member of Salem Baptist Church, and a member of the Humboldt Art Association. She loved to paint, make earrings and other jewelry, and sold Luzier Cosmetics since 1964.
Mrs. Parnell is preceded in death by her parents, Guy Fredrick Harrison and Ressie Lee Phelps Harrison; a son, Eugene Parnell; sister, Patsy Harrison Gray; and a brother, Billy Guy Harrison.
Mrs. Parnell is survived by three children, Denise Martin (Roger), Aubrey Parnell, and Kerry Parnell; four grandchildren, Ron Parnell, Amanda Parnell, Anthony Birmingham, and Sareena Jackson; nine great grandchildren, Chyna Martin, Trevor Birmingham, Curtis Birmingham, Breona Snyder, Tyler Birmingham, Jeremiah Paschall, Autumn Freeze, Alex Freeze, and Maverick Eugene Paschall; and three great-great grandchildren, Ashton Corum, Grayson Freeze, and Xa-Lynn Davis.
