Bobbie Fayna Laxson passed away on Friday, July 12th, 2024 at NHC Pulaski. She was born in Madison, AL on July 3rd,1932 and was 92 years old.
Bobbie was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a cheerleader in High School at East Limestone. She worked several years at Genesco and was also the Southeast Regional Manager at Cato’s. Bobbie also owned The Chocolate Drop bakery. She managed the gift shop at Hillside Hospital and was a pink lady for 18 years. Bobbie was 1 of 10 siblings. She was the recipient of the woman of year award at First Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her children, grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and decorating the church. Bobbie had a green thumb and always had the prettiest flowers.
The family wanted to say a special thanks to the staff at Ivy Crest and NHC of Pulaski.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The Funeral service will follow at 3:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The burial will be at Giles Memory Gardens in Pulaski, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church Pulaski.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, John Andrew Laxson, her parents, Robert and Lena Whitt, and son William Gregory “Cotton” Laxson, 7 sisters, and 1 brother.

Douglas Laxson of Athens, AL
Brother-in-law, Mahlon Laxson of Chicago, IL
8 Grandkids and 15 great-grandkids also survive.
