Services to celebrate the life of Bobbie Dillingham Parvin, 88, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church with burial to follow in Shiloh Presbyterian Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon until service time.
Mrs. Parvin passed away on May 7, 2023 at Mississippi Care Center. She was born in Alcorn County on November 20, 1934 to the late Marcus Edgar and Ruby Phillips Dillingham. She was a graduate of Kossuth High School. She worked several years for ITT and then worked and retired from Magnolia Hospital as a cashier. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She loved sports especially watching basketball. She enjoyed being with her family and loved her great nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Dillingham; nephew, Stanton Lee (Amber); niece, Lauren Jones (Josh); great niece and nephews, Warren Lee, Adlee Jones and Caden Jones; cousin and close friend, Faye Mahundro; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas “Jerb” Dillingham and Eldred Dillingham.
Bro. Phillip Caples will officiate the services.
