Bobbie Dee Goolsby

Bobbie Dee Goolsby, 81, was born June 3, 1940, in New Albany, the daughter of Rollie and Eula Dee Pickens.  She departed this life at New Albany Health and Rehab on Sunday, October 24, 2021.  Mrs. Goolsby was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church, and had been a cashier for Wal Mart for thirty years.  She was the widow of Bennie Goolsby.

Survivors include two sons, Alan Ray Goolsby of Memphis, and Darrel Lyn Goolsby, and wife Jackee, of Mendon, Tennessee; daughter, Angela Whiteside and husband, Terry, of New Albany; two sisters, Ann Hudson,  and Ma Linda Abbott and husband, Bill, all of New Albany; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Goolsby; and three sisters, Robbie McNeely (her twin), Margie Brooks, and Dorothy Smith.

A graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Hickory Flat, Mississippi, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 2:00 P. M.,  with Brother Brownie Tohill officiating.  Pallbearers will be Darrel Goolsby, Terry Whiteside, Jimmy Goolsby, and Austin Goolsby.
