“Bob” Robert Earl Tucker, age 85 of Belvidere, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 23, 2021 at home. He was born on September 9, 1935 in Falls Mill, Tennessee to David Pearson and Maggie Rilla Shelton Tucker. Bob was one of twelve siblings including Wanda Fielder, David Tucker, Mavis Boswell, Billy Tucker, Mary “Aline” Spencer, Myre “Joyce” Koski, Frances “Jewell” Burt, Jerrell Tucker, Harold “Ray” Tucker, Linda Earls, and Patricia “Gayle” Miller. Bob loved his large extended family and enjoyed the crowded and frequent “Tucker Family Get-Togethers.” Bob married his lifelong love, Letha “Evon,” on October 17, 1953 and was blessed with a marriage of nearly 67 years. He was a loving father to his three children, Bobby Wayne (Jimmie) Tucker, Michael (Carlene) Tucker, and Teresa (Phillip) Herd, grandfather to James Tucker (Jessica), Amanda Tucker, Victoria Tucker McAnally (Chase), Olivia Herd Rhoton (Tyler), and Hollis Herd, and great-grandfather to Arrow Simmons, Damein Tucker, David Tucker, and Birch and Flora McAnally. Bob worked at Wilson Ball Factory and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church. In his free time, Bob had a love for gardening and raising green beans which he delighted in sharing with his family. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Mike Awalt and Bro.
