Bob Martin passed away on July 28, 2023 at age 77. The Memorial Service is 1 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Brother Jerry Reynolds will officiate the service, assisted by Brother Gordon Lee. Inurnment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. and on Friday from 12 p.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
Robert Myers Martin was born in Columbia TN to Nell Jo Horner and Eugene Donald Martin. He served in the United States Navy. Bob met and married the love of his life, Carol Layne. He worked for the City of Lebanon Gas Department. Bob loved his family, going fishing and watching rodeo.
Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Martin; son: Craig (Cynthia) Martin; grandchildren: Montana Rae (Zac) Carson, Patric Arthur Martin, and Daniel Thor Martin; great-grandchildren: Madelynn and Fenrir; and beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Nell and Eugene “Don” Martin and sister Sarah Voss.
