Bob Atkinson, 76, of Hazel Green, passed away Tuesday. Bob was born in Long Island, NY, but was a long-time resident of the south. He lived the past several years in a beautiful community in Hazel Green. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a retired Biomedical Engineer Technician. He is survived by three children, Marie Elizabeth Sanders, Robert J. Atkinson Jr., and Margaret Ann Black; one granddaughter, Kayla E Wolf; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday, December 10th at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by interment at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday.
