SHEFFIELD-The Annual Jake Landers Bluegrass Concert returns to the Ritz Theatre on Saturday, August 21, at 7 p.m. Headliner Sister Sadie will be joined by Iron Horse and opening act Josh Goforth. Tickets are available now at tennesseevalleyarts.org.
This concert is presented at The Ritz each year in memory of legendary bluegrass performer and songwriter Jake Landers. This year’s headlining act is the Grammy-nominated band Sister Sadie. This all-woman supergroup was named the 2020 Entertainer of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association. Since their formation in 2012, Sister Sadie has become a regular on the Grand Ole Opry stage and has gained accolades and thousands of fans.

Bluegrass star Alison Krauss has described Sister Sadie as “an inspiring musical collaboration bringing together some of the best women bluegrass music has ever claimed.”
The concert will also feature Iron Horse, a Shoals-based band that is internationally known for their bluegrass covers of rock songs. Their discography includes multiple tribute albums to bands such as Metallica and Nirvana, as well as collections of bluegrass classics and original music. Iron Horse is an annual performer at the Jake Landers Bluegrass Concert.

Josh Goforth
will serve as the opening act for the concert. Best known for his fiddling, Goforth is proficient at multiple instruments and puts on a varied, lively, and charming show for his audience.
The Annual Jake Landers Bluegrass Concert is presented by Pettus Plumbing and Piping and the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area.
