Born on January 16, 1932 to the late Jimmie and Bertie Garrison Oliver, Blanche was a wonderful homemaker and wife who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her love for everyone.
Survivors include her children, Danny (Brenda) Zills, Anthony (Linda) Zills, Ricky (Becca) Zills, and Dianne (David) Ashcraft, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Oliver; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Auburn Zills; son, Norman Zills; parents; brothers, Lester Oliver, and Leon (Jeanette) Oliver; and sister, Carolyn (Charles) Richards.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family extends special thanks to Dr. Tuckier and all the nurses, CNA’s and staff at NHC for their love and kindness. Also to the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Valley for their love and care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley or Alzheimers Research.
