Blake Russell Hargett, age 29, of Haleyville, passed away on Monday, March 04, 2024 at his residence.
Blake attended school at Belgreen. He enjoyed his time working with Burns Lawn Care and took a lot of pride in his work. He loved anything outdoors, music, and playing guitar. More than anything, he loved his family but especially his nieces & nephew.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth Kimbrough, Pete Isbell, Glenn Hargett; great-grandparents, Lorene and Norman James, Pete and Hazel Bragwell; and uncle, Ricky Tharp.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Darryl Hargett; his mother and stepdad, Amanda & Jason Smith; siblings, Lora Ann Gravitt (Thomas), Taylor Hargett (Tracie), Angel Smith, Elisha Smith; nieces & nephew, Ollie, Addie, Olivia, Paislyn, Raelee, Gracie; grandparents, Bettie Isbell, Marlyn Hargett, Odell Kimbrough, Kathy Smith; and special friend, Jennifer Latham.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 06, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Ricky White speaking at the service. The burial will be at East Franklin Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Darryl Hargett, Jeremy Burns, Patrick Tharp, Thomas Gravitt, Steven Hargett, Jeff Clark, and Taylor Hargett.
