Mrs. Billye Gene Thompson, age 82 of Albertville Nursing Home formerly of Boaz, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 at Shepherd’s Cove.
Service will be Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel Bro. Richard Pettijohn, Bro. Keith Dodd and Bro. Eric Sanford will be officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 11:30 – 1 at the funeral home. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her: Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Cathy Sanford Elkins and Jack of Sommerville and Jane Cornelius & Charles of Alabaster, Grandchildren: Carla Sanford Durham & Mark, Eric Sanford & Amanda and Richard Adams, 4 Great Grandchildren, Half Brother: William Canterbury of Atlanta and Sister & Brother-in-Law: Becky Johnson & Glennis of Boaz. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Keron Thompson
