Billy Wayne Black 73, of Elkmont, AL passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at his residence.
Born August 22, 1950 in Elkmont, AL, he was the son of the late Odie and Jessie Black. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Patricia Black, his brother Charles Black and his sister Dean Sanders. He is survived by his nieces Judy Hamilton and Linda Saunders and his cousin and friend Jimmy Wayne Putman.
Bill was a fun-loving guy that loved to raise a garden, go loafing, as he liked to call it, and stay busy. He worked at the Goodyear Dunlop Tires plant for 33 years and retired from the company in 2003.
Graveside Service will be held on Monday November 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore AL with Jerry Lamar officiating.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
