Mr. Billy Wayne “Bill” Henshaw, 92 of Scottsboro, passed away at his home Saturday, November 30, 2024.
Bill was a Home Builder and carpenter, and retired from the City of Scottsboro where he served as the Foreman at Cedar Hill Cemetery until his retirement. He was a member of Walter Bogart Lodge #882, Hollywood AL, and a member of Company “B” 151 Engineering serving in Korea . Bill was married to his wife Martha for 63 years until her death.
Bill is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws Pam and Jim Barnette, Dana and Tony Rodgers, grandchildren, Wayne and Brandy Fowler, Corky Hood and Matt Dupree, Spencer and Michelle Dudley, Lori Ann Dudley, Corey and Dominique Dudley, and Twelve Great Grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his Wife Martha and his parents Fred Henshaw and Ida Mae Stovall.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro
from 12 noon until 2 PM. Funeral Services will follow in the Chapel at 2 PM with Mr. Brad Dudley and Dr. Hardin Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery and the Cemetery crew will be active Pallbearers.
