Billy Wade Lovett, 75, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital. Born on December 8, 1949, to the late Robert Lovett and Mary Kersey Lovett, Billy lived a life marked by love, dedication, and skill.
Billy was a wonderful man who devoted his life to caring for his family, loving them unconditionally and wholeheartedly. He was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and fishing and a skilled craftsman whose talent for woodworking and working with his hands brought beauty and utility into the lives of those he touched. Above all, Billy cherished his role as a loving and devoted “Pawpaw.”
He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Margaret Fralix, Rufus Lovett, Walter Lovett, and William “Big Man” Lovett.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Lovett, and his children: Robby Lovett (Crystal), T.J. Lovett, and Randy Bratton (Jennifer). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Austin Bratton, Danielle Lovett (JJ Canada), Will Lovett, Dalton Lovett, and Annleigh Garland; and great-grandchildren: Tucker, Axel, and Saylor Bratton, Eli Robert Wade Estes, and Kolter Ripley Canada. His sisters, Christine Bennett and Pauline Moore, also survive him, along with countless other family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Pallbearers honoring Billy’s memory will be Austin Bratton, Will Lovett, Dalton Lovett, Sam Andrews, William L. Lovett, and Derek Dedman.
A service to celebrate Billy’s life will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 9:00 AM until the time of the service, at the same location. Billy will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.
