Billy Vann Swann, age 72, Haleyville, AL passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at his home. Billy was a member of Satsuma First Baptist Church. He served the Lord as deacon, Sunday school teacher and pastored several local churches. He retired in 2004 as General Manager of Victor Hyundai Madison . Paw Paw Billy enjoyed helping others and spending time with his grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Madison and Geraldine Swann; brother, Richard Swann. His visitation will be on July 19, 2012 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, AL., with his funeral held at 2:00 PM in the chapel, with Dr. Sherman Kimbrough and Dr. Joe Holmes officiating, burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery –Haleyville, AL. Billy is survived: Wife of 52 years, Linda Crumpton Swann; Children, Bill Swann, Jr, wife Wendy; Vann “Butch” Swann, wife Mandy; Marla Elliott, husband John; Lisa Cagle, husband Phil Brothers, Duke Martin, wife Linda; Gene McKissack, wife Carolyn; Grandchildren, Dustin Cagle, Rachel Elliott, Will Swann, Annalisa Cagle, Mary Claire Swann, Allie Swann, Cy Swann and Carter Swann.
