Billy Taylor Dean, 71, of Florence, passed away at his residence, September, 18, 2015 after an extended illness. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Monday, September 21, 2015 from 11 – 1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Terry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, William and Emma Dean; sisters, Joyce, Mary, Glenda, and Eva; grandson, Christopher Scott Dean.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jewel Peden Dean; sons, Chris Dean, Steven Peden, and Johnny Hampton; daughters, April, Anita, and Amanda Dean; Kimberly Heupel; eighteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Rodger and Jessie Dean; sister, Patricia Dean.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Hampton, Marlos Ritchie, Daniel Horton, Bob Cole, Wayne Dean, and Steven South.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Ford, and Scotch Jackson.
