Billy Rolland Cobb, 88 of Arab passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at his residence. Billy was one of eleven children born October 7, 1934 in Arab to Craton Carl Cobb and Carrie M. Farrow Cobb. He was a graduate of Arab High School and was a creative artist completing many advertisement billboards and signs for several local businesses in Arab and the surrounding areas, he considered himself a Sign Maker by trade.
He is survived by his children: Carla Shelton, Vanda Cobb and Michael Cobb; grandchildren: Annie, Tiff, Riley, Karson and Brayden; ten great grandchildren; brothers: David Cobb and Ray (Wilma) Cobb; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by sons: Greg Cobb and James “Jay” Cobb, mother of his children: Wanda June Sparks Cobb, parents: C.C. and Carrie Cobb; siblings: Basil, Junior, Rosa Lee, Imogene, Dorothy Nell, Willene, Lucille and Betty.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel. The burial will be in Brashier’s Chapel Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers: Riley Cobb, Brayden Morrow, Chris Wallace, Brandon Webb, Krystopher Webb and Chase Laney.
