Funeral for Billy Ray Tolbert, 68, of Decatur will be Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Scotty Letson officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Tolbert, who died Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital, was born Nov. 11, 1947, to Elmo Tolbert and Louise Jones Tolbert. He was a member of the Eagles and retired from Delphi as a millwright. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Steven and Danny; and niece, Stacy Foster.
Survivors include his wife, Hillary Tolbert; three daughters, Mischa (Steve) Morgan, Angel (Doug) Hutto and Lauren (Heath) Claborn; son, Mitch (Marianne) Tolbert; five sisters, Joyce (Carl) Norton, Joan (Danny) Appleton, Jean (Jerry) Stewart, Janet Malloy and Julie Praitano; three brothers, Ronnie Tolbert, Tommy (Gail) Tolbert and Jeff (Tammie) Tolbert; seven grandchildren, Kali (Alan) Gist, Kalyn Terry, Jace (Katie) Blaxton, Lexi (TJ) Green, Keenan Tolbert, Rosie Raye Warner and Charlie Claborn; six great-grandchildren, Brantley Terry, Bristol Blaxton, Hallie Jane Green, Lanie Grace Terry, Mia Jean Green and Lexi Gist; 17 nieces and nephews a multitude of friends and family and Ice.
Pallbearers will be Corey Tolbert, Kevin Tolbert, Tony Woods, Jarrad Brewer, Chris Tolbert and Cole Netherton.
