Billy Ray Thompson 76 of Russellville , formerly of Anderson died Saturday, September 24, 2016.
Visitation will be Monday from 3:30-5:00 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Wallen, Ethan Wallen, Blair Thompson, Logan Thompson, Tyler Cagle and Carlos Romo.
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton & Nadine Thompson ; wife, Betty Jane Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Thompson; children, Marty (Cheryl) Thompson and Buffy (Billy) Wallen; eight grandchildren; step children, Charlotte (Vaughn) Ivie, Keith (Daphne) Cagle and Debra Cagle and seven step grandchildren.
