Billy Ray Steenson, age 76, of Somerville but formerly of Decatur, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, Alabama. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He was born September 6, 1947 to Raymond Steenson and Cullie Mae Little Steenson in Decatur, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Angela Adams, son, Matt Bowen, grandson, Caleb Adams, and sister, Dean Wilson.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patsy Steenson, sons; Jeff Pettit (Michelle), Greg Steenson, Jason Steenson, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
