Billy Ray McClendon, 63, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021, at his residence.
Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 11 a.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Ricky Williams will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Tyler McClendon; parents, T.J. and Lillie McClendon; sister, Patsy Morgan; grandparents, Ben and Pearl Barton and Pernia and Earl McClendon and in-laws, Wayland Sherer and Gene and Edna Freeman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jennifer McClendon; sister, Netta Parrish; niece, Kelli Muncher (Mike); mother-in-law, Wilene Sherer; brother-in-law, Phillip Freeman (Nancy) and a host of friends.
