Billy Ray Jimerson, age 88, went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2024. He died at Shepherds Cove of complications from pneumonia and cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sandra Greenway Jimerson; brothers David (Carla), Glen (Geraldine) and Paul, and sisters Sue (Jack) Hart, Judy Shumate and Rita Wildhagen, all of Guntersville, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Callie Jimerson, and siblings John Thomas, James, Betty, Pat and Gail.
He was a 1954 graduate of Marshall County High School and a veteran of The United States Army from 1954 to 1957, and was retired from Plantation Pipeline in Chamblee, Georgia in 1996 where he worked as a company dispatcher for 36 years.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 22 at 1pm at Guntersville Memorial Chapel followed by a Memorial Service to celebrate his life at 2pm. officiated by Rev Dr. Aron Johnson. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice in Albertville, Alabama
