We regret to announce the passing of Billy Ray Hall, of Ardmore, Alabama, who passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, at his home in Ardmore, Alabama.
Billy was born September 1, 1942, to the late William Jessie Hall and Minnie Hood Hall.
Billy Ray has lived in the Ardmore area since 1977 and was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church in Athens, Alabama.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Hall, both of his parents, one son, John Steven Hall, five brothers, Infant brother Hall, Millard Hall, Carl Hall, Glen Hall and William Hall.
He is survived by grandchildren, Kaitlynn Hall and Em Hall (Abbey). Loved ones, Jerry and Harriette Glover, Colby Yates, Sam Camper, several nieces and nephews, as well as his extended family.
Billy Ray enjoyed woodworking, driving his tractor, yardwork, and motorsports racing of all kinds. He served the Ardmore Community as Town Councilman and Water Board Representative for many years.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 12:00 (NOON) until 2:00 PM., with a Chapel Service following at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Bro. Sam McMunn.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
