Billy Ray Baker, age 71, of Phil Campbell, Alabama passed away July 26, 2024. Billy was a lifelong resident of Franklin County. Billy served in the National Guard for 6 years. He worked as a carpenter for over 50 years and retired from TVA after working there for over 20 years.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens in Russellville.
BIlly is preceded in death by his parents, Drewey Baker and Irene (West) Baker; and his sister IV McGee.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Baker; son, Cody Baker (Brittany); Granddaughter, Eevee Baker (The apple of PawPaws eyes); siblings, L.D. Baker (Jeanette), Ronnie Baker (Lisa), Tommy Baker, Terry Baker Clutters, Yvonne Horton, Francis Wood, and Geral Baker (Howard Bragwell).
Billy is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends that will miss Billy’s cheerfulness.
