Billy Martin Shelton, 52, passed away September 22, 2013, at his home. A memorial service will be held today, September 26, 2013, at 3 p.m. at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens with Greg Standridge officiating.
Billy was born June 19, 1961, in Decatur. He grew up and spent his entire life working in the Caddo community. He loved hunting and Alabama football.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Shelton; mother, Joy Shelton; and two brothers, Jimmy Shelton and Alan Shelton.
He is survived by two sisters, Joy Westmore- land and Tina Terry; two sisters-in-law, Betsy Shelton and Denise Shelton. He is also survived by his uncle, Ruben Shelton; two nieces, three nephews, two great-nephews and one great-niece.
Parkway Funeral Home assisted the family.
