Billy Lee Townsend, 88, died Monday, June 1, 2020 at Generations of Red Bay. He was born in Alabama and attended Halltown Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 3, 4 p.m. at Halltown Cemetery, Vina, AL. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by one brother – James Townsend; one sister – Betty Wells and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie and Annie Beechum Weatherbee Townsend.
Pallbearers will be Dony McKinney, Gary McKinney, Tim McKinney and David Walls.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 3:30 – 4 p.m. at Halltown Cemetery.
