Mr. Billy Joe Smithson, 85, of McDowell Circle, Boaz, Alabama, died Saturday, October 08, 2016 at Shepherd’s Cove.
Service will be held at Two o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at McRae Chapel with interment to follow in the Union Cemetery. Bro. Doyce Putman will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Smithson was born in Georgia on June 25, 1931 to Harry & Nellie May Stokes Smithson.
Mr. Smithson is survived by his Son: Benny J. Smithson and Roger Dale Smithson both of Boaz, Step-Granddaughter: Lavada Qandah. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife: Marcel Smithson and Son: William Smithson.
