Funeral service for Billy Joe Parker, 83, will be Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Holt and Bro. Arvil Nix officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Parker died on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born September 28, 1931, in Morgan County to Floyd Richard Parker and Ophelia Dutton Parker. He was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife: Hester Parker, his parents, a son: Doug Parker, and sisters: Dorothy Woodall and Helen Lott.
