Billy Joe Aldridge, of the Hazel Green community, passed away suddenly on March 3, 2024.
He was the son of the late Andrew and Thelma Riddle Aldridge. Born August 8, 1969, he was raised in the New Market area.
Billy Aldridge is preceded in death by his loving parents, as well as two nieces Shannon and Brittany Aldridge.
He is survived by his children Christie (Buddy) Aldridge Hill, Shannon Brewer (Donny Green), and Joe Aldridge, stepdaughter Anna Watson, and girlfriend Donna Johnson. His grandchildren Trey, Austin, Dawson, Sarah, Matthew, Nathan, Tanner, Bryson, Grayson, Carson, and Brooklynn, and great-grandchild Boe were sources of immense joy in his life. Billy also leaves behind 4 nieces, 6 nephews, brothers, Jessie and Jackie Aldridge, and numerous other family members and friends.
A man of simple pleasures, Billy Joe Aldridge found enjoyment in the outdoors and spending time front porch sitting and watching the cars go by. Billy Joe, known for his favorite saying “Never say bye, because bye is forever,” lived a life filled with warmth and kindness.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
