Billy Jack Lash, 85 of Athens, Alabama, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at his residence.
Mr. Lash was born April 1, 1938 in Lauderdale County, Alabama, he was a member of Midway Baptist Church, a retired Brick Mason, a member of Brick Mason Union Local #8 in Sheffield, AL and he was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Services will be 2pm Sunday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Jerome Hillard and Stan Lash officiating. Burial in Tri-Cities
Memorial Gardens in Florence at 4PM.
Visitation is Sunday 12noon until service at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Stan Lash, Charles Lash, Billy Jack Wells, Terry Wayne Pounders, David Lee Pounders and Alex Melton. Survivors: Son, Brad (Tina) Lash of Madison, AL. Several Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by: Wife, Betty Rose Lash. Daughter, Jackie Foster. Brothers, A. D. Lash, Cecil Lash and Ronnie Lash. Sisters, Betty Pace, Gerald Barnes and Helen Lash.
