Billy Harold Phillips passed from this life at the age of 78 on June 25 at Whitesburg Gardens Healthcare Facility in Huntsville after a courageous battle with cancer. Billy was a lifelong resident of Huntsville and leaves many friends and family to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Huntsville Park Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Archer Phillips, son Terry Phillips, sister Bobbie Thompson, three brothers, Sam Phillips, Ronnie Phillips, and Kenny Phillips. Survivors include a son, Bobby Dale Phillips, sisters: Vivian Hollingsworth, Janie Henson, Marilyn Wright and husband Taylor; two brothers, Jim Phillips and wife Marilyn, Ricky Phillips and wife Patsy, and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 10:00-12:00 Saturday June 28 at Huntsville Park Church of Christ, 3124 Triana Blvd SW, followed by a graveside service and burial at Maple Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntsville Park Church of Christ or a charity of your choice. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
