Mr. Billy Gene Warsham, age 87 of Gadsden passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023. A celebration of life service will be at 2 pm, Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with Dr. Roger Beshears and Dr. Norris Hilton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Warsham was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. He was a member, deacon and before his illness, oldest living member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U S Army and co-owner of C & J Auto Parts. He played both fast and slow pitched baseball and was an avid Alabama fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H.W. and Maude Warsham, as well as, 5 brother and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Gail Warsham; sons, Darryl (Wes Marquina) Warsham and Duane (Penny) Warsham; grandchildren, Brianna (Cody) Burns, Kaycee (Jason) Fuller and Nick (Lindsey Arnold) Warsham; great grandchildren, Lawton Fuller, Sebastian Fuller, Theodore Fuller and Avie Burns and several nieces and nephews.
The family will accept green plants and cut arrangements.
