Funeral service for Billy Gene Dixon, 71, will be Monday, January 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, January 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Dixon died on Friday, December 30, 2022 at his residence. He was born January 19, 1951, in Oregon, to Billy Eugene Dixon and Iva Beatrice Meadows Dixon.
Bill had a big heart and would help anyone at any time. He attended Victory Fellowship Church in Falkville. He loved farming, cattle farming and really loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He served in the Vietnam War and was a retired United States Army Veteran. He also worked for Wolverine Tube and was a Cattle farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
