Billy Frank Wilson, Jr., 67, passed away December 23, 2023, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Frank was born on November 20, 1956, in Hollandale, MS to Billy Frank Wilson, Sr. and Mary Catherine Frazier Wilson and grew up in Leland, MS. After high school graduation, he attended Mississippi College where he studied Biology. Frank spent four years in Australia and Argentina as a farm manager. He had lived in Pontotoc for the past 25 years, where he established Pool Specialist, LLC, which he owned and operated until shortly before his death. Frank was a longtime follower of Christ and a member of West Heights Baptist Church. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed spending countless hours with his son designing and racing pinewood derby cars, hunting, fishing, and both were heavily involved with Upward Basketball.
Survivors include his son, Dayn Wilson of Pontotoc, MS; and his sisters, Beverly Kaye Anderson (Glenn) of Newberg, OR and Patricia A. Siddon of Avon, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, William “Pete” and Romie Wilson and Quitman and Vergie Frazier; and his nephew, William Stephen Siddon.
Service will be Tuesday, January 2, 2023, at 2PM at West Heights Baptist Church in Pontotoc with Dr. David Hamilton and Drake Merritt officiating. Visitation will begin at 12PM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in West Height Baptist Church Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Wyatt Dauler, Chance Witt, Wyatt Stanford, Kurt Thompson, Mickey Mapp, and David White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamie Mahan and Drew King.
