Billy Ferrel Tucker, 84, of Arley, passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021, at his residence. Billy was a quiet, humble, and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He was born in Jones Chapel, Alabama to Steven Talmadge Tucker and Roseltha Faye Tucker, Aug. 7, 1936. After graduating from West Point High School, Billy joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served for 22 years. While in the Air Force he met the love of his life Yvonne McCloskey, and they married in 1960. Together they had 5 children, Bruce (deceased), Colleen (deceased), Billy (Kim), Yvette (John) and Sean (Marisa); 8 grandchildren, Shane Greaves, Ryan Tucker, Megan Greaves, Conner Tucker, Cailin Tucker, Liam Tucker, Colleen Greaves and Elise Tucker; and 2 great grandchildren, Ronan Tucker and Quinn Tucker. Billy loved reading and enjoying time with friends and family. Over the past 15 years, Billy and Yvonne have split time between Naples, Florida and Smith Lake, Alabama. A family service will be scheduled at a later date when Billy will be laid to rest in Florida next to his children Bruce and Colleen who preceded him in death.
