Billy Duane “Boozer” Powell, age 72 of Pulaski passed away November 3, 2020. Billy was born June 11, 1948 to the late Alvie and Velma Boles Powell. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired Truck Driver and Diesel Mechanic. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Lynn Powell and Sharon Ann Powell, his brother, Richard Donald Powell, and his daughter, Anna Marie Powell Prince. Survivors include his son, Will Powell of Minor Hill, his sister, Theresa Tucker of Pulaski, his brother, Dwight Gomer Powell of Lawrenceburg, his grandchildren, Brindy, Robert, and Mason Fuson, and Jackson Levi Powell, his great grandchildren, Avyonnie and Jayden Fuson, and Kilah Harwell, and his faithful canine companion, Mickey. Visitation with the family will be from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Middle Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery.
