Billy D. Glover, Sr., 76, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Sunday, August 10, 2014, at his residence. He was born in Hamburg, TN of June 7, 1938, and was retired from Intex Plastics. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 3 until 9 PM on Tuesday, August 12 at Burnsville United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Burnsville United Pentecostal Church, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Rich. Interment will follow in Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers include Darren Rich, Jacob Cole, Jonathan Cole, Blake Brady, Brad Forsythe, Ronald Wingo, Remington Rodgers, and Josh Hyde. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kathryn Glover of Iuka; 1 son – Billy D. Glover, Jr. (Tammie) of Iuka; 1 daughter – Barbara Tawney (Dave) of Burnsville; 1 sister – Clara Cooper of Burnsville; 4 grandchildren – Ryan Glover (Amy), Zach Glover (Jessica), Rhiannon Tawney, and Matthew Tawney; and 2 great grandchildren – Ben Glover and Emma Glover; his mother in law, Elsie Justice Shaw of Iuka; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, David C. and Ivy Glover; his father in law, Tony Justice; three brothers, John D. Glover, Albert Glover, and D.C. Glover; three sisters, Evelyn Rickman, Bonnie Tucker, and Jewel Glover; and his grandson, Chris Glover. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chris Glover Family Life Center in care of Burnsville United Pentecostal Church at P.O. Box 41 Glen, MS 38846.
