Billy Clayton Banks, age 89 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Ridgewood Health Services.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery on the River Road. Robert Smith will officiate.
Mr. Banks was preceded in death by his Parents-Fletcher and Dovie Banks; Brothers-Clinton Banks and Carvin Banks; Sisters-Delamae Boshell and Nellie Wade; Sons-Randy Banks and Gary Banks.
He is survived by his Wife-Joy Banks; Daughters-Cindy Smith (Robert) of Moulton and Pam Moon (Bill) of Quinton; Son-Jeff Banks (Vicki) of DeLand, FL; Sister-Patty Gilbert; 13 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Moon, Justin Moon, Michael Smith, Dylan Banks, Donald Wade and Jayden Bland.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Rowan Bland.
