Funeral services for Mr. Billy A. Johnson, age 76, are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Central Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Beecham officiating. Interment will follow in Central Grove Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Johnson passed away late Wednesday in Jackson. He was born August 6, 1937 in Henderson County to the late Jim and Polly Johnson. He was a retired employee of Brown Shoe Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Renfro Johnson and two sisters, Mae King and Barbara Davis. Survivors include his son, Zack (Melanie) Johnson of Huron; his daughter, Denise Woods of Lexington; his sister, Cornelia Weatherford of Lexington; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Christi) Moore, Krystal (David) Scott, and Andrew Johnson; and six great grandchildren, Jacob, Tristan, Haley, Allen, Alex, and Bradley.
