Billie Wheeler departed this life on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at the age of 80 years, 2 months, 26 days.
She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 28, 1932 the daughter of the late Emery Thomas and Callie Parsons Massey. On November 5, 1960, she was united in marriage to A.C. Wheeler, who preceded her in death on March 30, 2001.
Mrs. Wheeler was a Beautician and a member of the Pisgah United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 3 sisters, Lela Hubbard of Birmingham, Alabama, Bobbie Pillsbury of New Orleans, Louisiana and Marzell Ellis of Navarre, Florida.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Massey; 7 sisters, Loraine Rinks, Amy Williams, Mama McBrayer, Mary Franks, Inez Jaggers, Maxine Dulaney and Anna Rae Massey.
