Billy Wayne SaltersOur Beloved Billie Wayne Salter formerly of Tupelo, Mississippi passed away in Grand Rapids, MI. at the Mercy Health St. Mary on April 20, 2019.

He was the 3rd child born in Lee, County Mississippi to the union of Mr. Rufus Salters and Juanita Watson Salters on August 1, 1957. This is where he was reared as a child and join the  member of Spring Hill M.B. Church at a very young age.  He attended Shannon High School later attending Itawamba Community College.  Billy worked most of his life in the Health Care Industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant. He was once employed at the North Mississippi Medical Center, Beverly Health Care, Cedra Health Care Center.

Some hobbies he enjoyed included listing to his favorite music, watching T.V., fishing and looking up history. His grandbabies was his heart, he enjoyed taking care of them and taking them on their daily walk.

Billy was a gentlemen, who was devoted and loved his family to the upmost fullest.

His memories will be treasured by his children, Kevin Wayne Salters of Tupelo, MS., Ryan Traylor of Grand Rapids, MI.; two sisters, Patricia (Leon) Gates, Sharon Collier both of Tupelo, MS.; a special friend, Jessie Mae Traylor of Grand Rapids, MI.; two aunts, Dorothy Stribling of Pontotoc, MS., Geraldine Williams of St. Louis, MO.; two uncles, James Charles Salters of Tupelo, MS., Leon Salters of Belden, MS. his beautiful grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

There will be no Public Viewing or Service
