Billie Sue Lindsey, age 89, of Muscle Shoals, AL., passed away Monday, August 24, 2015. Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2015 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow in chapel at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Colbert Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Highland Park Church of Christ, and served as a Pink Lady volunteer at Helen Keller Hospital for 22 years.
Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Myrtle Tompkins; husband, Claude Lindsey; sister, Juanita Williford; brothers, Raymond and Pride Tompkins.
Survivors are sons, George R. Lindsey (Judy), Randy Lindsey, Russell Lindsey (Susie); daughters, Jane Patterson (Sam), Cathy Vieau (Paul); sister, Stella Perkins; grandchildren, Bonnie Young (Tommy), Zeke Candler (Jennifer), Tracy Woods (Michael), George “Chip” Lindsey (Cecily), Marcus “Chad” Lindsey(Leah), April Thorpe (Dennis), James Vieau (Christy), Janie Hall, Levi Hall (Chanda); great grandchildren, Jacob, Dax, Joshua, Christian, Sam, Jieli, Jake, Zane, Annaleis, Morgan, Harper, Claire, Cooper, Caroline, Conner, Savanna, a host of loving nieces and nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be James Vieau, Paul Vieau, Sam Patterson, Levi Hall, Zeke Candler, Dennis Thorpe, Tommy Young and Jacob Young.
A special Thanks to Sue’s Caregivers, Gail Keener, and Charlene Linton and the staff of Morningside of Riverchase assisted living and Danberry Assisted Living for the great care that was given to our dear mother.
