Billie Sue Franklin, age 83 of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Larry Wimberly will officiate.
Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her Father-William T. Serratt; Mother-Marcell Rose Serratt; Brothers-Hank Serratt (Betty), Rudolph “Bo” Serratt (Mary) and Bobby Serratt (Janice Sue); Sister-Sara Jo Stacks.
She is survived by her Husband of 63 years-Carl Clovis Franklin; Sister-Ann Hewell; Sons-Thomas Martin Franklin (Christian) and Johnny Wayne Franklin (Donna); Grandchildren-Bradley Wayne Franklin (Katrina), Adam Martin Franklin (Whitney), William Carl Franklin (Julie), Amber Nicole Holderfield (Casey), Amanda Brooke Cooner (Matthew) and Matthew Thomas Franklin (Chandler); 11 Great Grandchildren; Host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Franklin, Adam Franklin, Will Franklin, Matthew Franklin, Matthew Cooner and Parker Cooner.
