Billie StanleyBillie Stanley, 90, died Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the North MS Medical Center. She was lifelong resident of Lee County. She was born July 28, 1928 in Plantersville to Bill and Lukie Ellis. She graduated from Plantersville High School. She worked many years as a secretary for Searcy Ford and retired from Hunter – Sadler. She was a longtime member of Plantersville First Baptist Church where she was a member of Women on Missions and the Dot Blackwell Sunday School Class. She enjoyed Crocheting and reading. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:30 PM Sunday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Balint and Bro. Joe Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Jean Inmon (Buddy) of Nettleton; two sons, Joseph William Stanley (Linda) of Plantersville and James Douglas Stanley – USAF Retired (Pam of Blair), OK; one sister, Martha Blythe (Ray) of Verona; one brother, John Ellis of Tupelo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Stanley; one son, Daniel Stanley; three sisters, Jean Helms, Ann Drake and Sue Thompson; one brother, Jimmy Ellis and two grandsons, Mark Inmon and Christian Stanley.

Pallbearers will be Darren Inmon, Lane Inmon, Levi Inmon, Landon Inmon, J.D. Stanley and Krennen Stanley. Honorary Pallbearers will be R.C. Lewis, Darrell Inmon, John Ellis, David Long, Ray Blythe and Buddy Inmon.

Visitation will be 12:30 until service time on Sunday.
