Billie Nunn Morgan, age 90, of Albertville, Alabama, and formerly of Crossville, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. Born on January 6, 1934, to the late Grover and Alice Nunn, Billie lived a life marked by dedication to her family, faith, and community. After 28 years of service at Boaz Walmart, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and hard work. A devoted member of High Point Missionary Baptist Church, she found joy in her faith and fellowship.
Her greatest pride was in her family, whom she leaves behind as her cherished blessings: her son, Jeffery (Gay) Morgan; daughters, Cindy Morgan and Kelli Hubbard; grandchildren, Mitchell (Kaitlin) Morgan, Luke (Makayla) Morgan, and Justin (Jessie) Lee; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Abel, Iva, and Ridge Morgan. She is also survived by her sister, Faye Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Trudell Isbell, Edna Parker, and Bobbie Cowley.
A visitation will be held at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will follow the next day, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm at High Point Missionary Baptist Church. Officiating will be Bro. Larry Camp, Bro. Stanley Jones, and Bro. Mitchell Morgan, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Lee, Mitchell Morgan, Luke Morgan, Jacob Haynes, Cody Camp, Bradley Mitchell, and Caleb Sims; Abel Morgan will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Billie’s warmth and faith have left a lasting impact, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
