Mrs. Billie Joyce Swords, 91 of Guntersville, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 19, 2023, at Barfield Healthcare.
A graveside service will be Thursday February 23, 2023, 11am at Mt. High Cemetery with Bro. Ricky Smith and Bro. Bill Millican officiating.
Mrs. Swords is survived by her children, Tonlo (Nora Ann) Swords, Billy Swords, Jessie (Edna) Swords, Cathy Ann Swords, Myra Sue (Hulan) Hill; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Gale Grannon, Martha Smith.
She was preceded in death by, husband Jesse Edward Swords whom she married on December 24, 1946; daughter, Okie Segers; brother, Charles T. Whitehead; sisters, Betty Morton, Dale Whitehead, Dorothy Lemaster.
