Billie Frances Gilchrist, age 87 of Jasper, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Joel Carden will officiate.
Mrs. Gilchrist was preceded in death by her Parents-Tebe and Edith Carey; Son-Randall Mewbourn; Sister-Bobbie Hays; Brothers-in-law-JB Carden and Johnny Hays.
She is survived by her Son-Mike Mewbourn of Jasper; Sister-Regina Carden Barrow of Empire; Nephews-Joel Carden (Sandy) of Empire, Jacky Carden (Sandra) of Empire, Jimmy Carden (Charla) of Trussville and Donald Hays (Leah) of Jasper; Niece-Deborah Hays Edwards of Trussville.
Pallbearers will be Ned Strickland, Bobby Robinson, Rodney Ballanger, Jimmy Carden and Jacky Carden.
