Bill T. Oakley, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Nashville, TN, retired from Centel Corporation, and a member of Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church. Mr. Oakley served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thompson and Mary Etta Warf Oakley; three sisters, Lois Beasley, Mildred Hilton, and Sara Smith; two brothers, James Oakley and Renice Oakley; one grandson, Vincent Darryl Hollis; and one son, Jimmy Hollis.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, May 29, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 30, 2015, with Rickey Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, TN with full military honors.
