Funeral Service for Bill L. Cartee, 84 of Hartselle will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 11:00AM at East Highland Baptist Church with Bro. Jarrod Helms officiating. Burial will be in the Smyrna Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Cartee will lie in state 1 Hour at the church. Bill was born July 6, 1940 in Decatur, Al to William Kirby Cartee and Mary Louise Lee Cartee. He served as a medic in the United States Air Force. Bill was a member of East Highland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Half Brother, Marion Lee Cartee, Brother, Gary Wayne Cartee, Sister-In-Law, Robbyn Cartee, and Niece, Erica Nicole Cartee. Bill spent a lot of time in Virginia in the Mountains. He loved his church and his high school classmates. He Graduated from Austinville High School in 1958.
