Biddy Blessing Broadfoot Thornton, 71, of Florence passed away on September 16 at El Reposo Nursing Home.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 18 from 11-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 1:30 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Thornton was preceded in death by her father, James Howard Broadfoot; mother, Annie Virgilene Hill Broadfoot; brother, James Ellis Broadfoot.
Survivors include her son, John Thornton of Waterloo, AL; daughters, Tonia Roberts (Chris), Emily Neil (Gene Kelsey) and Molly Brewer (Dennis) all of Florence, Al; grandchildren, Katelyn Dill, Meghan Neil, Mason Wood, Evan Thornton, Chloe Roberts, Abby Neil, Jared and Emma Thornton.
